Dow FROTH-PAK™ 650 Class A fire rated spray foam insulation kits are complete portable two part polyurethane spray foam systems. FROTH-PAK™ polyurethane foam is a two-component, quick cure, closed cell foam that fills cavities, cracks and expansion joints for insulation and air sealing. Air infiltration accounts for 25%-40% of a home’s energy loss, FROTH-PAK™ stops that energy loss. FROTH-PAK™ Foam Insulation kits can be used to insulate stud wall cavities up to 2" thick, cold floors above unheated areas, crawl spaces, attic walls, and ceilings when covered with a code-approved barrier. The kit can be restarted and reused for up to 30 days after first startup. The FROTH-PAK™ 650 kit yields up to 650 board feet of foam.
The FROTH-PAK™ 650 kit yields up to 650 board feet of foam (One board foot = 12"x12"x1"), 1.75 foam density.
Chemical curing allows 2 part polyurethane foam to be dispensed, expand, and become tack free in seconds. Foam will skin over in 30 to 40 seconds. Reentry to spray area can be made in 1 hour without respirator. Dow FROTH-PAK™ 650 is great for bigger jobs; yield is 650 board ft.
FROTH-PAK™ Foam Insulation Kits (U.S. only) come with a Class-A fire rating (flame spread index of 25 or less), FROTH-PAK™ Foam Insulation can be used in:

As with all chemical products proper preparation of the work area and application procedures should be followed to insure a safe and satisfactory job.
When spraying FROTH-PAK™, the initial reaction of the 2 chemicals will generate heat. We recommend building up thickness in a series of layers to avoid excessive heat buildup.
Proper ventilation of the work area should be followed. Please see Froth Pak Ventalation Guidelines.
Please make sure that both tanks are opened fully and that there are no restrictions in the feed lines. An improper mixture will cause "off ratio" foam. To see what this looks like check out our video "How to tell Good from Bad"
For contracters and businesses OSHA has specific guidelines for applying spray foam. Please see the following for more information:
Additional charges may apply if shipping to a residence, extended service area, or business that does not have a loading dock.
This product is also available for Pick Up from our Farmingdale, NJ warehouse.

Very happy with the results. I should have bought all 3 kits. I knew 2 would cover the area, but, I also knew it would be thin towards the end. Honestly I was nervous about trying it. I figured a 1400 dollar oops is better than a 2100 dollar oops. Towards the end of the spray you need to pay attention to the color of the foam. the blue hose seems to run out first. I had a spot about 1 sqft that was more brown than surrounding foam. I let it dry and easily scraped it off with my finger so I can reapply over that area. Over-all I am very happy with the results. Definitely cover as much skin as possible. use a full tyvex suit, goggles (regular glasses leave your eyes too open to the floating particles of foam) and gloves. I would buy this again.

Great way to seal and achieve high R-values. Went with a couple inches along rim board. Shipped same day I placed the order. Do yourself a favor and watch some of the training videos Dow provides online and read the manual. You'll see some (non-DOW) videos of people spraying with a dust mask or even without respiratory protection. Don't do it. This can be safely and efficiently applied for great results...just follow the manufacturer's recommendations and use safety precautions.

The company hustled to get me the product the next business day, much appreciated (though FedEx tried to sabotage the delivery). Application went fine though spraying up to coat the underfloor of a crawl space is not so much fun. Wear your bunny suit and respirator!

Product was delivered 2 days after order was placed, exceptional. I used this to insulate a sub floor resting on a concrete base and theFoam-Pak 620 fullfilled this need. It was easy to use carfully following the instructions. I used up the entire contents in one go so cannot comment on storage and re-use. One down side is that it did no go as far as I expected. The 620 board feet (1.4 cu m)listed is theoretical in ideal lab conditions. I would like to know what the practical volume usage is.

had a small problem with the left hose at the sprayer that seeped some material out. wasn't a big deal though. product sprays and covers well. make sure they are warm like the instructions explain or inconsistent coverage. warmed mine up and worked great. once applied, this product is amazing, like most any spray foam.

and besides that it is easy to use--you really have to plan what your doing so you don't have to change nozzles all the time

I was satisfied with how the Froth-Pak went on. I initially heated the tanks up to 80 degrees and kept them around 75. I was able to do just under 500 square feet. Most spots at an inch thick while other places thicker. I applied it in on my basement walls behind a studded wall. One thing I will do differntly next time is use the "spot" tip to apply the foam behind the studs (~3/4" space) first and then go back through and use the fan tip to fill the spaces between each stud.
