DuPont™ Enerfoam™ Professional Polyurethane Foam Sealant is a high-performance, gun-applied expanding foam ideal for sealing around penetrations and junctions in both residential and commercial buildings. This complete kit includes 12 cans of Enerfoam™ (30 oz), 2 cans of Great Stuff PRO™ Foam Cleaner, and your choice of AWF PRO™ dispensing gun. Enerfoam delivers high yield, excellent adhesion, and long-term flexibility. It's fireblock rated, water-resistant, and cures into a durable closed-cell structure, making it perfect for demanding sealing and insulation projects.

Recommended Applications

The product is ideal for use in:

  • Sealing pipe penetrations (e.g., water, gas, sewer lines)
  • HVAC and electrical penetrations
  • Wall/ceiling junctions and attic hatches
  • Outdoor water faucets and recessed boxes
  • Drywall joints to reduce nail pops and air gaps

Note: Surfaces should be clean and dry. Dampness does not impair adhesion, but dirt, oil, or loose material may.

Application Details

Preparation

  • Wear long sleeves, gloves, and goggles.
  • Eliminate open flames, pilot lights, and sources of ignition.
  • Shake the can vigorously for 1 minute.

Gun-Applied Version

  • Invert and screw the can onto the dispensing gun until finger-tight.
  • Adjust the flow control screw, press the trigger to prime the gun.
  • Insert the nozzle and fill gaps less than ⅓ full to allow expansion.
  • Trim cured foam in 30 minutes; fully cured in ~1 hour.
  • Store upright with gun attached; reusable up to 30 days.

Cleanup

  • Uncured foam: Use Great Stuff PRO™ Foam Cleaner.
  • Cured foam: Must be mechanically removed.
  • Important: Do not store gun with cleaner can attached; it may damage seals.
