Description

DuPont™ Tile Bond™ Roof Tile Adhesive is a high-performance, one-component polyurethane foam adhesive designed specifically for installing concrete and clay roof tiles. Packaged in easy-to-use disposable canisters or cans, Tile Bond™ eliminates the need for traditional attachment methods such as mortar, nails, clips, or screws. This minimal-expanding adhesive offers exceptional strength, faster application times, and a cleaner, more efficient installation process. Ideal for both new construction and re-roofing projects, it’s engineered to withstand extreme weather—including hurricane zones—while reducing roof weight and labor costs.

Whether used for low, medium, or high-profile tiles, DuPont™ Tile Bond™ delivers long-lasting, code-compliant performance and meets Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade NOA, and Texas Department of Insurance requirements.

Features & Benefits

  • Quick & Easy Installation: Apply up to 350 tiles per 23 lb. canister with minimal training.
  • Superior Holding Power: High tensile and compressive strength for long-term reliability.
  • Restartable Canister System: Allows multiple use cycles, reducing waste and downtime.
  • Low Expansion Formula: Won’t lift tiles or damage underlayment.
  • Moisture-Cured: Can be applied to damp substrates with no loss in adhesion.
  • No Off-Ratio Concerns: No mixing or expensive application tools needed.
  • Approved for Hurricane Zones: Meets Miami-Dade, Florida Product Approval, and Texas DOI standards.
  • Environmentally Friendly: VOC compliant with 0% ozone depletion potential (13 g/L VOC).
  • Excellent Yield: Lowest cost per installed tile among single-component foam adhesives.
  • Reusable: Use part of a canister, store the rest for future jobs.
