Installation Instructions

Tools & Materials Needed:

  • Masonry drill & ⅝" anchor bolts
  • Level, tape measure, and chalk line/template
  • Impact wrench or socket set
  • PPE (gloves, glasses, ear protection)

Steps:

  1. Mark Placement: Position bollard in desired location. Mark anchor holes using the base plate as a template.
  2. Drill Holes: Use a masonry drill to bore anchor holes in the concrete according to anchor size and depth.
  3. Bolt Down Bollard: Align the base plate holes over drilled anchors. Insert ⅝" anchor bolts and tighten securely.
  4. Ensure Stability: Check bollard alignment with a level before final tightening.
  5. Optional Finish: For a maintenance-free appearance, slide an Ideal Shield bollard cover over the post.

Tip: For high-traffic or heavy-impact areas, consult with an engineer or contractor to confirm anchor specifications meet local safety standards.
