Low GWP Froth-Pak™ 12, Spray Foam Sealant Kit
DuPont™ has made enhancements to their industry leading formulation of FROTH-PAK™ Spray Foam Sealant. As a direct result of these formulation enhancements, FROTH-PAK™ 12 no longer contains HFC's, a potent greenhouse gas, and is now a Low Global Warming Potential (GWP) product that is compliant with state environmental laws throughout the US. Further enhancements include a redesign of the applicator nozzles that include increased optimized blending and a controlled spray pattern that reduces over-spray and waste.
FROTH-PAK™ 12 spray foam sealant kits are complete portable two part polyurethane spray foam systems. FROTH-PAK™ polyurethane foam is a two-component, quick cure, closed cell foam that fills cavities, cracks and expansion joints for air sealing and improved insulation. Air infiltration accounts for 25%-40% of a home’s energy loss, FROTH-PAK™ stops that energy loss. FROTH-PAK™ Foam Sealant kits can be used to seal stud wall cavities up to 2" thick, cold floors above unheated areas, crawl spaces, attic walls, and ceilings when covered with a code-approved barrier.
Chemical curing allows 2 part polyurethane foam to be dispensed, expand, and become tack free in seconds. Foam will cure in 30 seconds, the fastest cure time in the industry. The FROTH-PAK™ 12 kit yields up to 12 board feet of foam (One board foot = 12"x12"x1"), with a 1.75 foam density. FROTH-PAK™ provides a R-6.1 rating per 1 inch of thickness and R-12.2 when sprayed at 2 inches thick.

FROTH-PAK™ Usage Recommendations:
As with all chemical products proper preparation of the work area and application procedures should be followed to insure a safe and satisfactory job. When spraying FROTH-PAK™, the initial reaction of the 2 chemicals will generate heat. We recommend building up thickness in a series of layers to avoid excessive heat buildup. Proper ventilation of the work area should be followed. Please see Froth-Pak™ Ventilation Guidelines.
Please make sure that both tanks are opened fully and that there are no restrictions in the feed lines. An improper mixture will cause "off ratio" foam. To see what this looks like check out our video "How to tell Good from Bad"

This product can only be shipped within the continental U.S. Additional charges may apply if shipping to a residence, extended service area, or business that does not have a loading dock. Any orders for 84 kits or more will be shipped via freight company which will require a delivery appointment to be scheduled.
