Sikaflex®-15 LM is a premium, one-component, polyurethane-based, non-sag elastomeric sealant designed for high-performance applications. With its low-modulus and exceptional movement capability of +100/-50% (ASTM C-719), this sealant is ideal for dynamic joints in vertical applications, including high-rise and facade projects. It meets stringent industry standards, including Federal Specification TT-S-00230C, Type II, Class A; ASTM C-920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 100/50, use T, NT, G, A, O, M; and Federal Specification TT-S-001543 A for silicones. Additionally, it is tested per ASTM C-1382 for compatibility with Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS).

Applications

Sikaflex®-15 LM excels in sealing joints between similar and dissimilar materials, making it perfect for concrete wall systems, window and door perimeters, reglets, flashing, and common roofing details. Its high movement capability and adhesion make it a top choice for high-rise buildings, facades, and EIFS applications.

Applications Guidelines

Apply at temperatures between 40°F and 100°F to clean, dry, frost-free substrates. For optimal results, condition material to 65°F–75°F before use. Tool sealant to ensure full contact with joint walls, maintaining a 2:1 width-to-depth ratio, with a minimum depth of 1/4 inch and maximum of 1/2 inch. Allow one week curing time before painting or water immersion.
