Application Details

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, sound, frost-free, and free from oil, grease, and loose particles.
Roughened surfaces improve adhesion.
Remove curing compounds, sealers, or coatings.
Use bond breaker tape or backer rod as needed.
Priming typically not required except in submerged conditions.

Application Instructions

Temperature Range: 40°F to 100°F
Joint Design: Width-to-depth ratio of 2:1; minimum depth ¼", maximum ½"
Insert nozzle to bottom of joint and apply in steady flow to avoid air entrapment.
Tool immediately to ensure full contact and remove excess material.
Paintable after full cure (7 days recommended).
Use opened units the same day to avoid premature curing.

Cleanup

Clean tools and equipment with xylene before material cures.
Cured sealant must be removed mechanically.
