Application Details

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, sound, dry or damp (no standing water)
Remove grease, curing compounds, and other contaminants
Install backer rod or bond breaker to control depth and prevent 3-point bonding
For green concrete: Wait 24 hrs after pour, control joints cut at least 8 hrs prior
For damp concrete: Wait 1 hour after water is removed
Primer is required for immersion service

Joint Design

Recommended ratio: 2:1 width to depth
Depth range: ¼" to ½"
Min. depth for traffic areas: ½"
Max. movement: ±25% of joint width

Application Conditions

Ambient/Substrate Temp: 40°F to 100°F
Precondition cartridges to ~70°F for best flow
Pour in one direction, allow sealant to level naturally
Tooling is minimal but can be used for finishing
