Application Details

Surface Preparation:

  • Clean surfaces of dust, dirt, and debris using a stiff brush and damp cloth.
  • Ensure a positive slope at sill if required by window manufacturer.

Gap Filling (BB GF):

  • Fill voids, joints, cracks, and dissimilar material seams up to ¾".
  • Smooth with a trowel or dampened finger.

Flashing (BB LF):

  • Apply BB LF in a serpentine bead around the window or door opening.
  • Use a trowel or putty knife to spread to 25 mils wet thickness, ensuring full coverage over the sheathing and substrate.

Cure Time: Allow ~30 minutes before installing window or door. Product may still be tacky but should not stick to the finger.

Final Sealing: Apply BB LF over window flanges (top and sides) after installation. Do not flash the sill flange to allow for proper moisture drainage.
