Surface Preparation:

• Ensure substrates are dry, clean, and structurally sound.
• Concrete: Shot-blasted, fully cured, moisture content below 4%.
• Plywood: Seams caulked and reinforced with fabric if required.
• Metals: Prepared per SSPC/NACE standards and primed.
• Existing Coatings: Abraded and solvent wiped before recoating.

Mixing: Mix slowly with a Jiffy-type mechanical mixer until uniform. For Tint Base, add two Sikaflex®-900 color packs per 5 gallons and mix 4–6 minutes while avoiding air entrapment.

Application: Apply with a notched squeegee or trowel, then backroll with a phenolic resin roller. Broadcast aggregate evenly into the wet coating if required. Minimum cure is 12–14 hours before overcoating. Open to pedestrian traffic after 48 hours and vehicular traffic after 72 hours.

Limitations:

• Do not apply if substrate is damp, frosted, or if rain is expected within 8–12 hours.
• Not suitable for continuous immersion.
• Tint Base version is intended for pedestrian use only (not vehicular).
• Dark colors may fade over time with UV exposure.
